Our club is an affiliate of the International MOMS Club, which has 2,000 chapters with 100,000 members in 8 countries. The International MOMS Club was founded in 1983 in California by a stay-at-home mom tired of being isolated all day. She wanted to meet other stay-at-home moms and wanted to find other at-home children for her children to play with. When she could not find any organization that met during the day and allowed her to come with her baby and preschooler, she decided to start MOMS Club. The chapter she started was so successful, she knew mothers in other areas must be needing the MOMS Club, too. Soon she and other volunteers were helping mothers start MOMS Clubs across the country and around the world!
